E-learning Content Designer

This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + bonus
Fixed term contract for 12 months.
About the role:
Working across IT and HR, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of key strategic technology projects. By engaging with key stakeholders, you will be designing, developing, and implementing engaging e-learning content for our employees. You will be an advocate for our people strategy, bringing to life Hotelplan's vision, strategy, and values, role modelling the expected mindsets and pioneering a culture of learning.
The overall goal is to design, deliver and develop impactful e-learning content that supports our digital roadmaps and priority training programs, including content for our new sales platform (Lemax) and learning experience platform.
- Design and develop e-learning courses using Elucidat, Vyond, Articulate, and other relevant software.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Create interactive and engaging learning materials that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Develop digital tool training programs, including content for Lemax.
- Evaluate and continuously improve e-learning content for our Learning Experience Platform based on feedback and learning outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional design.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for e-learning platforms and tools.
- Work closely with the L&D team to align training initiatives with organisational goals.
- Provide reporting information for L&D or tech progress reports.

- Design and development knowledge using Elucidat, Vyond, Articulate, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Building content and managing learning platforms.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with digital tool training and content development for platforms like Lemax is a plus.
- Desirable: L&D professional training or qualification.
